The wedding was beautiful, I had a blast with old friends and met new ones. The drive up was longer than it should have been, but I made it okay, and the drive home was faster than expected. Go figure.
Unfortunately, I caught the Maid of Honor's cold, and am now holed up trying to recover.

May. 3rd, 2006 10:11 pmKind of a maintenence-ish post - I've had a Photobucket account full of pics for quite some time, and never posted a link. Mel, these are from that costume exhibit we were going to go to together. I've rearranged stuff on my computer and can't lay hands (err, mouse pointer;) on the original files right now...
ETA: I went and got a Creative Commons license for my Photobucket Images. I really hope this displays right in LJ...

I've made a few changes lately; I've decided that from now on, I'm going to post all my comments about film/video production on my other site, TiltedWindmill, and focus on more personal and scifi/geek stuff on LJ, which I have also embedded at my personal site. I'm also going to make an effort to start reviewing more books/movies/music - I like it, and it gives me more to talk about, especially about geeky fun stuff. It's kind of fun, exploring new stuff to do with my webpages;)
I'm not gone, I'm just having technical difficulties. My computer is making it very clear that I have to fix the video card problem NOW by the simple expedient of refusing to stay on longer than a minute and a half. In the meantime, my email is backlogging (though I can still check gmail - it's just my groups/lists and old mail that I hadn't had a chance to answer yet that are languishing in the dark depths of my harddrive, inaccessible until I have a video card that doesn't make XP crash), I can't IM, and I'm having to borrow time on other people's computers to do anything. I'll post more when my machine is functional again...

Missing Posts?
Feb. 16th, 2006 01:30 pmAll posts about my current occupation (including past posts) are now friends-locked. If you're looking for a past post and can't find it, it probably had something business-related in it and is now locked. The reasons for this are also friends-locked. If you think you should be able to read those, check to make sure you're a) logged in, and b) on my friends list. If you were before but aren't now, it's probably because we haven't talked in more than a year. Comment (if you care) and I'll probably add you back.
