Okay. Last night I had a very strange dream that struck me as being very odd, and, having taken time to catch up on LJ tonight (yes, I ought to be in bed, I do have work in the morning, but so what) I have noticed one or two other posts regarding dreams.
So. I will detail what I remember of my very odd dream, and see if 1) it makes any more sense to me in plain type, or 2) it makes any sense to anyone else.
It started with me sneaking out of the office (which looked nothing like the office actually looks; the boss has a thing for enormous gilt frames on paintings and floral arrangements on every desk; very feminine office) with Harrison Ford wrapped up, unconscious, in a blanket. I was kidnapping him. The office in my dream was very maze-like and institutional, and I had to be very polite and friendly to everyone while I made my getaway, so they wouldn't realize I wasn't planning on coming back - or that I was kidnapping Harrison Ford. Why they didn't notice the enormous blanket with him wrapped up in it I'll never know. Oh, and I had my cat and his big dog, too, which for some reason seemed not to object to the whole thing. I don't even know if Harrison Ford has a dog.
I had to meet my Dad at the airport to get Kermit Griffin, who used to be Harrison Ford, smuggled out on the next plane. (Kermit Griffin is a character in Kung Fu: The Legend Continues; I have never had a crush on him, so I have no idea why he took Harrison Ford's place. I was always a Peter fangirl;) I got to the airport and got Kermit safely stowed in the luggage processing area (not on a plane, on the ground at the gate), miraculously not arousing any suspicion from the guard who helped me stuff my "package" on a cart, and went looking for my Dad, who had apparently gotten off his plane early and gone looking for me. Not finding me waiting for him, he headed for - the office. So, the rest of the dream is my mad dash to catch up with him before he gets to the office, finds out I'm not there, and leads them to realize I'm the one who kidnapped Kermit. I have to push my way through huge crowds of people, for some reason it's nighttime and everything looks like what I've seen of New York on TV or in movies, and the dog goes with me everywhere. Big dog, like a lab or great dane or rottweiler or something, and he likes me. I have no idea what happened to my cat. In particular, I remember having to go through some kind of art museum that vaguely reminded me of a ride at Disney World. I'd just made it to an elevator when I woke up.
I don't know if this makes any more sense or not. I'm going to have to think about it, but I want to get it posted before midnight;)
