Dad knows. What's really bizarre is how he found out. He knew I had chosen to use the name Chrystalline for business purposes (he called me chrysalis...) but I hadn't told him that I'd gone ahead and made it legal. Then, the Sunday night before we left for NYC, he told me he'd had an interesting conversation with the pastor at church that night. Apparently, he'd walked up to Dad and asked, "What's up with her changing her name?" Dad: "What?" Me: "..." (thinking, 'How in the world did HE know?') Dad went on to explain that the pastor knows someone in the courthouse who told him. Oddly enough, he took it better then than he had when I mentioned that I was thinking about it in the first place.
