blasted library computer finally let me in!

Oh, there's so much to say, and no time. The interview on Feb 16 didn't get me a job, but the temp agency around the corner did. So, I now have an empty studio apartment in Brentwood LA, no car, and I'm planning to fly back to AL to get my cat this weekend. I'll also be choosing which of my stuff has to come here and which can be left behind until I'm making enough money to afford a real mover, because my parents have ZERO desire to drive three days across the US, and the cost of moving is high. My computer is supposed to be shipped to me this week (I hope, I hope) and I've got the cable internet hookup already so I can get online as soon as I get it. I don't know whether the library computer was just being finicky before, or what, but I was unable to access most of my internet haunts before today. AOL mail is backing up, I haven't been able to read my yahoo groups...just all 'round not pleasant being cut off from everyone. I'm looking for a second job, since the rent is so high, but haven't had a lot of success yet. Still trying.

Also got to see Passion on Sat; I liked it. Not any more gory than Saving Private Ryan or Black Hawk Down. I did cry though. Anyway, I have to run. Gotta see if I can get into AOL this time;)
