Sorry for dropping off the face of the net; having computer problems, am going to have to reinstall opsys. Again. Hopefully it won’t take too many days to get everything restored and reinstalled.

Hopefully this is almost fixed; a friend is coming over Monday to help me figure out FDisk, which should :: fingers crossed :: allow me to go ahead and do the system recovery like I was trying to do in the first place.
