I finally got to go see POTC a couple weeks ago; loved it! Bought the soundtrack the very next day;) Never really was a Johnny Depp fan, but, oh, what he did with that role! According to the Parade section in the paper (I forget which Sunday it was) the Powers That Be nearly yanked him from the role when they saw the rushes; good thing they didn't...he's the reason it was so popular. If he'd played it straight, people would have watched it for the pretty faces and then forgotten about it.

Matrix Reloaded: finally saw that on DVD. My favorite parts are the fight scenes (big surprise), and the Merovingian reminds me of a college classmate (except he didn't have a french accent and he had a much bigger nose than the guy in the movie). Really, though, it's kind of scary how much he looks like this guy I knew (well, technically I still know him, but he's in SC and I'm in AL so we don't see each other much;) Now I'm rambling. And having trouble typing. Shouldn't be up this late. Oh, well! I have my opinions about what the "answers" are going to be in Revolutions, but I don't think I'll bother airing them, since the final installment is/is coming out. I guess it depends on where you are; on the other side of the world, it's already tomorrow;)

And I *still* forgot to check Sluggy! By now there should be two days' worth of funny for me to read...

RL is being stressful, but I'm trying to forget that at the moment. Ever reached the point that you start laughing for no particular reason and can't stop? And know that if you try you're going to end up bawling like a baby, also for no evident reason? That was Saturday night. Parents said I "blew a safety valve";)

Eh, anyway. That'll do for now. I have other stuff to do, and I really ought to finish up and get to bed, what with it being 2 am here. Have a lot of stuff I don't want to do tomorrow that I have to do...

Love this pic, BTW. I have a poster size print of it, along with another lady and knight by the same painter, Edmund Blair Leighton. Fell in love with the above image the first time I saw it, years ago, and then, just a couple of years ago I found the print. At the time, I had just gotten a roommate (when a friend needs a place to stay, friends help;) and we had some disagreement on decor. I was certain she'd like these prints, so I promptly bought both (and some gold tone poster frames) and brought them back with me. Immediately after looking at them, she says, "I don't really like them." Figures! They grew on her, though, and she definitely preferred them to my prior decor (horses all over the living room;)

My RL to-do list is getting bigger the more I postpone:\ Wonder how long it'll be before the sales office starts screaming for the money I haven't gone and collected yet...meetings and chores and trying to figure out for myself the things no one ever teaches you to do in school. Most annoying part of college is that they never teach you how to strike out on your own. All they focus on is, "here's how to go to work for someone else." Well, what if I don't want to work for someone else!? What if no one is doing what I want to be doing? What if I want some say in what I do for the rest of my life, hmmm? Aggravating. College teaches you to work for someone else; no one ever teaches you how to work for yourself.

And for another mood switch, what is better, long posts with cuts, long posts without cuts, or multiple posts all in a row? And does anyone use any of those "download a client" things? Any recommendations? Have a cable modem, so it's not like I have to log on and get off quickly (which is what I used to have to do...3-4 computer users and one phone line equal a problem;) but maybe a client would make this a little simpler?
